PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON TO JOIN ALISON LUNDERGAN GRIMES IN LOUISVILLE

FRANKFORT – On Tuesday, February 25, President Bill Clinton will make his first stop of the 2014 election cycle to campaign for Alison Lundergan Grimes.  Clinton’s visit to Kentucky builds on the surging momentum around the campaign and follows this video unveiled at last summer’s Lexington launch.

Grimes senior advisor Jonathan Hurst released the following statement ahead of Tuesday’s event:

“President Clinton championed economic growth and job creation while in office – leading the nation in its longest economic expansion in history.  Alison Lundergan Grimes shares Clinton’s vision of a strong middle class and an economy that works for real, hardworking people, so it is no surprise that he has made our race a top priority and strongly supports the only candidate in this race who has a jobs plan for the future.”
